Message from St Monica's Church

During Lockdown while all masses are streamed from St. Monica's we have produced a joint Newsletter with the mass intentions for both parishes.

Please Note due to the increasing level of infection in the Sefton & Knowsley areas, and the freezing weather it has been decided with the approval of the Archbishop that St. Monica‚Äôs and St. Francis de Sales churches will close for the remainder of the present lockdown. This difficult decision has been made in order to keep congregations safe, especially those with pre-existing conditions. live streaming will continue, and daily mass will be recorded to view at a later time.

If you come across any problems with the live feed or the recordings please do not hesitate to contact us, or MCN directly. Thank you all for your patience.

I am happy to say the Good Friday  stations of the cross requested by many of you is now available here on the webcam site. 'On this Day, Stations of the Cross'

We are obliged by law to disinfect the church after each time the church is open to the public, therefore when Fr. Ged is saying Mass in St. Francis de Sales, St. Monica's is disinfected ready for the next time it is open to the public.  We hope you all understand that this is important.
